An Assorted Selection Of Rube for Expiring Big Man Trades

TRADE 1:

Rube and Detriot First Rounder to Utah for Milt Pilacio and Greg Ostertag.

WHY: We do this for expirign contracts at the end of the season and vet help until then. They get grit and hustle (which they need/value) and a pick. Win win scenario. Plus, we bailed them out and did them a HUGE favor by taking what we did (much lees than market value) for the #3 pick, so this evens the score a bit.

TRADE 2:

Rube and Detriot First Rounder to Boston for Micheal Olowokandi.

WHY: We get expiring contract, they get a hustling 6th man and an extar pick (which they can package with the picks they got from Minny to move up).

TRADE 3:

Portland trades Rube and Detriot's First Rounder to Orlando for Tony Battie, Bo Outlaw and Terrence Morris

WHY: They get a sparkplug for their lackluster team and a pick. We get two washed-up big men who can still crash the boards before their contracts expire. To do this the Blazers would have to trade Segei for a pick or wave Ha and Smith. Orlando probably wouldn't do this due to the fact it would leave them with a huge void at the 3 and 4.

Evalutate all in the comments. Thanks.

Dont be that desperate to get rid of Ruben ... washed up players can ruin team chemisty as fast as you can say Shareef

its called leaving them inactive/buying them out...they wouldn't actually play-they'd just come off the books and give us cap space
